Any Republicans Celebrating the Health Care Bill?
I did a quick search on Google and Bing, but I couldn't find anyone partying on the GOP side. Nada. Nothing. The GOP seems angry, depressed, deeply negative. They aren't happy at all. More like aghast and stricken.

Good.

3. Har har...
Seriously, though. None of the Republicans voted for it. It's almost like they don't like it.

8. Half a billion in Medicare cuts and unprecedented privatization.

You can't get more RW than that. The (R)'s get to have their cake and eat it too. Some 'chess-wizard' gave the (R)'s the ability to campaign on trying to save Medicare from the Dems.
Of course, everyday working republicans know this is a colossal screwjob, just like a lot of us on the left do. It looks like a LOT of people are pissed off.

4. Agreed

yet at a Christmas party, I engaged in a conversation... the republicans were mildly pleased that the mandate is sure to rile up voters. although the HC bill puts (some) limits on insurance. they are unsure if that helps or hinders them. now if the public option is truly dead then it is time to celebrate.

otherwise they realize that the mandate coupled with public option means Obama will be elected again as well as they know they will loose senate seats. possibly some house seats as well. Along with insurance "contributions."
so at this point it is concern that public option may be resurrected in combining the house and senate bill.

7. I wish I could be sure a PO was in the final bill
But I have a feeling the WH will exert the same pressure to kill it in reconciliation that they did with the Senate just so they can have 'something' they can label a huge victory.

Going to rightwing blogs right now is not dissimilar to reading Firedoglake.

6. Joey Scabs is every morning on his show
if you mean by celebrating you mean dishing out talking points to his GOP friends for 2010 and laughing that they are going to pick up seats.
