1. Pointless poll. The bill is going to pass in less than 12 hours.
Try reality for a change, it's not that bad.

2. Correction, pass the SENATE
It then goes to conference and what comes out of conference must first survive a vote in the House, a cloture vote in the Senate and a final vote in the Senate.

Just making clear what hurdles still exist.

4. Oh, I want it to pass. I'm just interested to see how may kill-the-bill advocates
out there already have insurance.

I'm going on the assumption that many of them who do wont bother voting in my poll.

3. I think I'll see how Bernie Sanders and Russ Feingold and Barbara Boxer
and John Kerry vote, and then decide.

As frames of reference go, that's a potent quartet.

6. I cant say Im for killing anything because I dont know what will be in the final bill
I have insurance but it is almost worse than having none because we are being gouged to death.

Up until April it is OK insurance but after april 1st, it goes up 40% if we want the same coverage we have now.

Otherwise we switch to a, 'medical savings plan' which isnt insurance at all. There is a yearly 5000$ deductable and the insurance company pays nothing until the deductable is paid.

Flying to Costa Rica to get medical care will be cheaper than using the insurance that we are paying 1200$ a month for. That is more than my mortgage payment. How sick and twisted is that.

People assume that those with insurance are happy with it, but in my case they are just stealing my money.

7. Big difference between the Senate bill and the House version
Senate bill must be killed.

If the House is forced to accept Senate version, then the whole thing should be killed.
