Besides me... How many of you have your representatives on speed dial?
Edited on Tue Dec-22-09 12:13 PM by PuraVidaDreamin
Programmed into your phone? Just wondering.

Sometimes at work on break or lunch I'll call them and pass the phone around to other like minded
individuals in the room to convey an opinion.

PS- did you call them today?

1. That's a great idea!
I never thought to put them on speed dial. I have all of them in my Outlook contact database & write or call at least once a week - more than I call my local Mexican food place for carry out - & yet Casa Alvarez is on speed dial, but not my reps.

Thanks for the great suggestion.

3. No. I write to my reps. I write interesting letters that express
my point of view. Oddly enough, they get answered by someone who obviously read them. Probably not the elected person, but somebody. Calls get counted, and that's all they get, if that. A single letter that gets read is worth way more than a bunch of phone calls.

I sent them via email, but sometimes on my business letterhead in a nice envelope with a Forever stamp on it. Both work.
