I'm holding out HOPE until the last dog dies...
it's what this Democratic President deserves, and it is what I will do. But TRUST: I did not vote for a democratic President only to have some FASCIST For Profit Health Corporation MANDATE to be shoved down my throat. I believe our president can do better than this and I trust he is hard at work for the People who wanted CHANGE not more of the same corporate handling.

That's all.

8. Whenever someone complains about unrec's it automatically
dooms that post to be unrec'd. It's like asking for it.

4. I'm with you
I'm waiting to see what actually ends up on Obama's desk before I start ranting and raving. I've done quite a bit of ranting about Lieberman and Baucus and Conrad but will hold my complete disdain and disgust for the entire Democratic Senate until after the final product is delivered.

It ain't over 'til it's over.

12. So many people are waiting -- I've a feeling they have no idea the blowback in store
for them if they fail.

5. I'm with you. This roller coaster is making my head spin...
And the drama that, almost daily, comes along with it is getting to be quite nauseating.

His pledge was to bring it within his first term, I'm hoping to see much more done than what it looks like this first round will bring.

7. Why is this "what this Democratic President deserves"?
What, exactly, has he done to earn this level of trust?

10. No shit. With the track record he's established thus far,
I wouldn't trust him anymore with a burnt-out match.

My problem is, they keep redefining what "the worst" is. :banghead:

23. Ah, the new plan is to avoid conference altogether
A recent article that they may just "ping pong" the Senate bill to the House, have them vote on it as is and send it back to the Senate for a final vote. Then, off to the President for the Rose Garden signing ceremony.
