Rachel Ray giving out "An Inconvenient Truth" on her show
Before you say WHO CARES? Let me tell you the whole story (will take less than 30 Minutes)

I heard this on Glenn Beck's radio show. After the caller who didn't believe the polls (Beck doesn't now either) the next caller was upset about the "politication of TV". Seems she was watching her favorite last night, "Crossing Jordan" when one character said to another character "You have ACS...Ann Coulter Syndrome" and that was NOT a compliment. Angry TV lady then said that she was upset at how Rachel Ray was giving out copies of "An Inconvenient Truth" on her show to the audience and she was encouraging people to see it.

Beck announced, imagine the luck of this coming up, that he was working on a special "Global Warming: the other side of the story". So set those TiVo's now.

This is actually a good thing. I finally saw Gore's movie last night-it was different than I expected but it was very well done- and the more people who see this the more who will see that they have been systematically lead around by their noses by all the voices who don't say it doesn't exist (except Sen.Inhofe) they just say "Well...you know there are questions ;-) "

No there aren't

13. I thought it would be just the presentation
but,as you surely know, it had the whole story of how he got interested in the environmental movement (nice mention of the beginning of the movement) as well as showing him giving the speech all over the world.

I thought it would just be the presentation. Funny how I used to think (almost as angry TV lady did) why do they have to politic-it-up? But I don't feel that anymore-that is mostly born out of the MSM conditioning that *I* shouldn't proudly stand behind the lib/progressive ideals, policies, and history. I don't feel that way anymore.

I loved it. I thought it not only showed the "slam dunk" of the facts but it showed that Gore was right all along and it clearly shows what could have been had our Democracy worked back in 2000.

15. I think it was a good idea to open the film up like that, even though the
presentation in itself is dazzling.

5. My 7-year-old son has a crush on her.
At least he picked a good one.

(And, well, she's little like his mother, which has a lot to do with it. LOL!)

10. Thank you Rachel Ray!
And a big thank you to Crossing Jordan writers! Also, Glenn Beck has low ratings and is an idiot. Well, I am off to buy another Rachel Ray cookbook!! I have to show my support.

14. Thanks for posting something positive
about Rachel Ray. It seems like Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart are always getting trashed...for no good reason other than they're very visible, and successful, females. Hey, at least they do stuff, unlike Paris Hilton. They employ people and their marketing/merchandising supplies jobs for Americans. Damn them.
I happen to like Rachel. AND Martha. I think they're often targets due to sexism, envy, and their thinly disguised liberal tendencies.
There just seem to be a lot of people who detest strong, liberal women -- hence, the intense hatred for Hillary Clinton, who is hardly the fire-breathing femi-nazi that reichwing radio wants America to think she is.
Let the swiftboating of Rachel begin.
We're now fighting back when these attacks happen.
Thanks for your post.
