Deja Vu--- a Bush Derangement Syndrome Flashback

I was driving around today, delivering my son to various lessons and finding places to kill time in between, listening to NPR. They were reporting on the "new" (?!) Afghanistan strategy. I was gritting my teeth. They played excerpt from the speech, I was yelling at the radio. The usual suspects were voicing their approval and disapprovals, they were interviewing service members who have been in and out of there and Afghanistan for the last 8 fucking years and their families-- I could hear the anguish even through the "acceptable responses" etc. I was losing my shit. God, this felt familiar. I thought, when was the last time I felt like this-- clouds open up, light bulb moment-- oh yeah! a little over a year ago and some before, it happened weekly, almost daily at times. It was Bush Derangement Flashback. I thought I was all done with that. Change.... yeah

Anyone have Spare Change I can believe in? I think I'll need it as my blood pressure will not likely stay stable through the next 3 years any better than the last 8. Last I heard the drug companies were raising their prices and NY has not approved medical marijuana (chances are my employers would not approve either as I just had to submit to a pre-employment piss test).

I could use some spare change. Anyone listening? Maybe it's not just the intelligent conservatives that are homeless. Progressives are also finding themselves without a tent and a soup kitchen.
