Cop killer may be in Seattle area, U of Wash. warning.

My brother works for Univ. of Washington, he just e-mailed me a copy of a warning going out to all employees to be extra alert, that the Lakeland cop shooter is suspected of being in the area there.
I have no other information.
Update: the message did say "Police are responding" to the report.

1. I need to alter how I go home
The city's idea of where to place my bus stop is next to an unlighted path through the woods. DON'T THINK SO. My other two options are dark and sidewalkless, but safer than that.

2. None of those choices seem very safe...
even without a crazed killer on the loose. Can you get a ride with someone or maybe a cab? Be careful.

believe me, I've gone around with the city on this. They don't care.

They did catch the guy, though.
