How long should they debate the healthcare insurance reform bill ?

When they return from their Thanksgiving vacations? I think they return a week from tomorrow? Should they go 6 weeks, 60 hours, or 60 days? Or perhaps less?

I would think anyone could read it and offer all their amendments in five days or less? What do you think?

1. I think they ought to debate it until they come up with a single-payer plan.

That could take a while, but it's the right thing to do.

2. I'd say through the holidays, if need be, until they get it right.

I hate to make poor old Bernie Sanders hold the fort, but he's gonna have to. However, I won't be mad at him if he isn't feeling heroic. I do hope some of the other more progressive Senators lend him a hand like Barbara Boxer.
