McConnell says Repubs need 6 weeks before they vote against the bill.
Since everybody knows how they are going to vote, why let it go on for six weeks? Give them a couple of weeks to read the bill. That would be about 150 pages per day, with large script. Since they have already said how they are going to vote, why waste everyone's time and money?

3. Funny how that works.

If it was a BushCo Supreme Court Justice nominee they could have done the whole thing in one afternoon.

4. 6 weeks? Are they nuts?
That's crazy.

They need to read it over Thanksgiving, and get this done right after they return.

I cannot believe these people.

5. More delaying tactics. They need 6 weeks to come up with a thousand amendments to the Senate bill
to stall it another year.

7. It's going to be a long, difficult fight.
Kind've sad when a bit of uncertaintly surronded getting the 60 votes necessary to just open debate on the bill.

9. the only people who were uncertain are opponents of the Bill
This bill will pass.

Obama will sign HCR with a Public Option into Law.

And the Repigs will pay for their lack of vision.

10. You'll get EXACTLY 60 hours, and like it.
Time to get busy.

Your amendments - all of them will be shot down.
