6. It's fascinating!
It's like watching a train wreck. I don't want to look but, I can't help myself. After a visit there I think, is it possible that anyone of these people could be my neighbor. It's scary.

4. I want choices too. Funny thing is though my private insurance limits my choices
as to who I can see for any given illness or condition. If there's a provider in-network you must use that provider or have your benefits drastically cut for seeking treatment elsewhere. We don't really have any choice now.

7. The in-network bullshit is keeping me from
seeing the doctor of my choice. I'm left to choose amongst the dregs. Who suffers - me.

8. My previous employer had a lot of employees go to the Mayo Clinic since we were so close.

After a few years guess what world-class medical facility was deemed out of network? Present employer prevents me from going into Chicago or St. Louis to see a specialist or Mother Mayo for that matter.

9. Does that dumbass realize he just perfectly described Aetna, and Blue Cross?
Edited on Sat Nov-21-09 04:18 PM by tjwash
Or just about every other HMO that tells you what doctor you can go to that they will pay for, what prescriptions they will cover, and what pre-existing conditions they will not pay your doctor for?

And no one is stopping that idiot from going to whoever the fuck he wants, whenever the fuck he wants. He just has to pay his bill on his own when he does.

Yeesh...
