I certainly am no fan of Palin and enjoy mocking her at every opportunity, however, she is major news story and as such a well-trained and trusted journalist should keep track on her and report the goings-on in and around her camp.

Anything that captures a substantial amount of the attention of the American public is a significant news story.

Especially when it involves and politician, former, present or future, who has major influence over their fans and followers.

Snap out of your hate and see it for what it is.

Like I said, I dislike her as much as anyone here, probably more so...I have absolutely no respect for her or what she stands for, but I do recognize her importance to others.

It's only a story because the media won't shut up about it. 95% fluff.

She's old news. She may have some entertainment value, but she's definitely not worthy of being called a 'big story'. She has zero to contribute to the issues that are facing the country right now. That was proven in her failed run for VP and her failure as a Governor. The country learned all they needed to know about her back then and have decided by an overwhelming majority that she is not qualified for a national public office.

She is tabloid news now and Andrea Mitchel must have something more important to report on in the way of real news. Unless Andrea is now in the tabloid business.
