Can the American people get a Stupak amendment for each of these too?

5. Tax Payer Revolt! Thanks for the post. Although the policies might bankrupt us
before we have a chance to pay taxes.... out of job or part time pay too low.

6. Why don't they put a detailed, very detailed list of projects and initiatives
on our tax forms? Or log into an IRS website to make selections?

The lists would be used to indicate which projects we want our taxes to go to. If we can develop this kind of software for the mutual fund industry, we can develop software for tax money allocation. Would this not be a truer expression of democracy and put the power back into the hands of the people?

The ultra-rich would buy off on the projects they wanted (if they payed their taxes), and the rest of us could fund the projects we wanted.

12. You don't seem to get it - the rich use government to tax the middle class and
use their money to pursue items on an agenda which serves to make the rich richer.

15. But if select inititives to fund, essentially voting for them, wouldn't this filter out that bias?

7. If all this was really worth it, a penalty wouldn't be needed to make sure you paid for it
Our one-size-fits-all system requires penalties for non-participation though.

10. We are a representative democratic republic.
If our representatives fund things we don't like, we can vote against them.
