So can a Lieberman aided filibuster be overcome?
Will there be a Snowe or Collins to come across? Will one or more of the other usual Blue Dog suspects join Joe and the Republicans?

3. She said no public option , or else.
Do we surrender on that too.. I say let them filibuster until they turn blue and pass out. I'd say a windbag such as McConnell is good for about a month.

5. McConnell is way too soft for that stretch
I say he gives in as soon as he wets his diaper.

8. The bill will be considered under reconciliation rules.

And passed with 50 votes plus Biden.

The question then becomes, will Lieberman join an expected Republican filibuster of the second bill containing regulations that cannot be passed through reconciliation?

9. Rep. Joseph Cao (R-La.) set the bar for Blue Dogs and moderate republicans
The smart ones will come over to the side of the American People, while the rest are relegated to the historical dustbin of failed, bribed politicians.

Joe Lieberman may lose everything in the end, if he sides with republicons regarding the healthcare bill.

10. Lieberman will lose nothing
He will get a nice cushy "director" job with the insurance companies when he is finished playing Senator.

Or he has a spot at the Carlyle Group.

12. He will probably lose his Senate seat, and certainly his dignity,
especially if he signs on with the Carlyle Group.

13. Let'em read the phonebook like Strom Thurmond.
He won't come off looking like Jimmy Stewart.
