Health Care Reform needed 218 to pass. It got 220.

The winning votes were provided by one republican who was not on board until Saturday night and two democrats who weren't in office on Monday.

Yet this was the conventional wisdom after Tuesday's elections:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her leadership team have struggled to get moderates on board for that vote, and Tuesday's results won't make the task any easier.

Seriously, why don't the extreme right or left realize they don't yet have dictatorial powers - politics is the art of the possible.
