The problem with the people who voted for the Stupak amendment is that they cannot trust a woman to decide on her own what is the right thing.
Not that she is terminating a life but that she is making a decision that they feel she is not qualified to make. Because women still are to a degree in this country second class citizens.

It's more about controlling a woman and her body.
The people that voted for that amendment have problems with women controlling their own bodies, or they might just think their constituents do. But I think it's about control.
