Tonight, Kucinich was left at the gate.
He can't take back his vote. This is the beginning of real reform, a transformation of the American health care system. Everything from here on out builds on this.

As Conyers stated:

I supported it because it will expand access to health insurance to 96 percent of Americans, end discrimination based on pre-existing conditions, help our seniors by closing the prescription drug benefit donut hole, and increase competition and choice with a public insurance option...I will vote for this bill because the cost of inaction is too high.

1. It might be very interesting to hear people who are defending Kucinich's
vote this evening walk up to Conyers and call him a DLC sell-out.

Excellent find, ProSense.

Recommended.

2. He's only as good as his votes. And again, he voted with Boehner and the teabaggers.

His reasons don't matter.

Save the ideologically purity bullshit for your beany-wearing supporters, Dennis.

You again voted with Boehner.

Your vote is what is on record, not your reasons "why".

You voted the way Limbaugh wanted you to vote.

He voted with the wingnuts.

His reasons why don't interest me.

He's a "useful idiot" for the wingnuts.

Just because his actions were exactly the same as John Boehner and Eric Cantor, his REASONS were different!

Can't you see how pure and wonderful he is?

14. Why?
Just as with the frantic claims about Republican states opting out, do you anticipate that any of those states would adopt single payer?

The whole point of the current House bill is national health care with a public option that will be available to the majority of people in a few years.
