Gunman opens fire in Vail (CO) bar
What is in the water this week?

VAIL, Colo. – The police chief in Vail says one person has been killed and two injured in a shooting at a bar near the Colorado ski resort town.

Police Chief Dwight Henniger said Saturday night that authorities took one person into custody after the shooting at the Sandbar in West Vail.

Bar patron Nancy Lewis says she saw a man being escorted out of the bar and speaking incoherently. She says he then pulled out a gun and shot someone in the arm.

Other witnesses told the Vail Daily newspaper that the man fired several shots, then re-entered the bar and fired several more shots. Police received an emergency call at around 7:30 p.m.

1. Vail?
I didn't think they let anyone in the Disney version of a ski town who has a net worth of under $500K (or over $20M... if you have more than $20M you have to go to Aspen, under $500K and you go to Copper Mountain).

Locals? There aren't any. Everyone that works there commutes in from Dillon.

from washing dishes when I was 18 years old to running a kitchen by the time I was 27

there are locals there and itis possible I know who was shot.

It ranges from someone being pissed off over some guy looking at his "girl" to just being drunk and pissed off. Clubs and bars can be very dangerous places.
