May I Ask Where You Are As You Watch\Listen To Tonight's Debate ???
I'm sitting here at literally the end of a country road, miles south of Sacramento, across from a couple thousand acres of cattle grazing and wetlands. Got the door open and posting, watching, and listening to C-Span while a few dozen head of cattle, a couple of goats, and a few roosters wonder what all the noise is about.

Just a while back, the the sun showed off the Sierra Nevada Mountains before diving down to the west.

The cows think I'm weird.

2. Flipping between CSPAN and the NE/OU game
Desperately hoping for an NE win and watching snippits of the debate with pride, joy and revulsion at times.

Sounds like you had a wonderful sunset - ours was orangy-pink over the mountains. Life is pretty good when nature gives me the beautiful sunset snapshot.

In some semi-mystical way, no???

I once had a place with an ocean view. Across the street was a herd of cattle up on the headlands at the coast in Norther California.

I go outside with a drink and a cigarette. I know there is a storm on its way within an hour or two. And the cows, for no apparent reason, just start running. It's like they were stampeding in a circle for ten or fifteen minutes. They were going right over anything in there way: brush, small trees, each other...

Scared the crap out of me...

Had never seen it before, wondered just how powerful this storm was supposed to get, and if there had been no storm, I'd have sworn that there was an earthquake on the way.

Really weird.

She always sits there when I go on the computer. I must provide some warmth or something. Listening to the tv coming from the living room. It is getting colder here in Connecticut, 36 degrees tonight. Daisy the cat is not amused by the weather (or C-SPAN). She likes it warm.
