| Tax dollars should not be used to fund prostate exams |
 |
Prostate exams are an abomination, god told me so. It's right there in my holy book in the section which discusses who should be denied health care.
|

I'm also morally and religously opposed to the male gender |

its actually giving rights to a person, whether you agree or not a lot of the people who vote and a lot of the politicians who get those votes see the issue differently than you do.

that people of all religious bents believe that an abortion is the ending of an innocent life, you may not agree but you got to realise that these people are gonna vote their beliefs and the politicians who represent them will vote that way as well. Its one of the consequences of a society where people are allowed to believe and vote according to their beliefs...

| 21. The fact that they vote... |
 |
...gives them absolutely no right to foist their beliefs on others. In fact, the right to privacy and bodily integrity trumps any religious belief.
The current "reality" may say that they can force others to their will; but you'd better believe that they're going to be resisted and that one day in a new "reality" they will be the ones dictated to, not doing the dictating...so they'd be advised to rethink their arrogance and sanctimony.

...are they perhaps expecting something more enlightened from the other side?
By new reality, I of course mean that those who are in power now, whether through voting or de facto, will one day be out of power; they should probably think about, before that day comes, the consequences of their actions today...or they'll receive no better than they gave. It's the way things are, you know...

Civil rights, human rights, are not up for a vote. Get it?
