Our Sarah Palin Coloring Book made the Washington Post!
Just wanted to share an article about our coloring book on the Washington Post Short Stack book blog today:

Up to this point, most of the press has been about the Nation's "Going Rouge" book, and it was really cool to see this one on the Washington Post that focused on our book. Made Symbolman's and my day.

12. Tell everyone you know in Alaska
and just so you know there are cases being shipped All over Alaska to selected bookstores from Fairbanks to Juneau, the lady at the bookstore (two bookstores there will carry it, actually) said that "Sarah's not well liked around here.." so we'll be striking right in her back yard politically!

They're talking about putting them in their store front window displays as well!

Amazing responses! Making a lot of new friends - love to come to AK and do book signings at some point if she keeps her nonsense up.. love to have signings in bookstores ACROSS the Street from her whenever she goes, but she's not going to any major cities, sleazing around in little towns..

MUDFLATS has the latest on Palin's Wisconsin Right To Life Speech, she had "boots on the ground" there since NO ONE was allowed to record, photograph, etc.. I think they even took their CRAYONS away from them at the door :)

Let folks know that THIS former AK veteran of 12 years, who's crashed in ANWR while Prospecting for Uranium for the Dept of Energy, AND watched the Pipeline being BUILT firsthand is DOING Something About this PR Invention called PALIN!

16. I'm not surprised that you're getting the royal treatment
from the bookstores. I think people Outside would be pleasantly surprised and gratified to learn how deeply Sarah's stock has plummeted in Alaska since last summer. We may have been gullible at first, but we're not stupid. :)

I read that Mudflats post. I don't understand why the secrecy, but it sounds like the "Boots on the Ground" did a good job of capturing the essence. http://www.themudflats.net/2009/11/06/boots-on-the-grou...

good to see someone who remembers those salad days, pre-podcast, pre-YouTube, when TBTM Ruled Bush and online attack ads :)

Glad to have you back, tell your friends please!

We clocked in at #2500 or so on Amazon.com yesterday, which I think is good.. hope we can knock Palin off the bestseller list and replace her.. in our dreams of course, but, what the hell, eh?

It's a good book, I think it will kick even more once it's released, it's Ain't your Momma's Coloring book :)

Being dumped already.

Even though it's ghost written (meaning it uses capital letters and punctuation and all that weird stuff), I somehow suspect it is not Steinbeck, McCullough, Oates or Catton we are talking about here.

But I keep seeing the Newsmax "Free" book deal with the $9 subscription to their site.

Symbolman says, "And the cheerleader that gave it away for free in high school was real popular, too."

The marketing campaign around her book is another case of trying to put lipstick on a pig.... oink!

1 I can color and the other to save for when it is a valuable collector's item. Can just see Antique Roadshow gut telling me it would have been 6 figures if I hadn't colored it but, since I did, 10 bucks.
