| Kaiser just doubled my Boyfriends ins premium |
 |
'cause he had the nerve to turn 50.Healthy as a whip, works out, never goes to the doctor except for routine recommended stuff. He owns his own business so he has to carry his own insurance.
Every year it goes up a alot more I would say 25 % increase on average but this year come on. Is it because they won't be able to raise it up any more once the health care bill goes through so lets get it up as high as possible?
Keep in mind that when I was self employed and I am 9 years younger than him but because I am a women and could possibly become pregnant they would charge me $150 extra a month. It is really some sort of sexual discrimination that they can make women pay more who is 9 years younger. That should be a whole different thread though.
Here is a real interesting case one of my patients told me that when she was very young she needed a kiney transplant and got it.Then her guardian changed insurances and the new insurance company said she had a pre-existing condition so they would not cover her very expensive meds that helped her body not reject the kidney. So guess what she had to let her kidney die and had to go back to dialysis. Someone call Michael Moore that is the most absurd stupid thing I have heard.so how cheap is it for her insurance to pay for dialysis?
sheesh

| 8. Hubby has a Medicare Supplement over $360 per month Deductable has doubled too... |
 |
My non-medicare is $734 each month. Both of us will have RX copays more than double in 2010. This is hard to handle without any increase in his Soc. Sec. Time to tighten our belts some more.

| 6. Kaiser tried to kill my daughter. And that's not hyperbole. |
 |
My daughter worked at a company for 20 years. She went to the doctor complaining of bleeding from her rectum. They said it was nothiing. Years later, her company outsourced my daughter's entire department, so she had to find a new job, which she did, and this company had a different carrier. She again went to the doctor complaining of bleeding. The first thing they did was give her a colonoscopy, and they found she had cancer, and had it for at least three years. The first test you give someone who's bleeding is a colonoscopy. The new doctors felt that Kaiser deliberately did NOT give her the colonoscopy, for fear they might actually find something wrong. By the time doctors found my daughter's tumor, it was humungous and she almost died because of it.
These people are murderers, plain and simple. I hope they all die from a really nasty disease and their insurance won't cover it.
