and any win as down played or insignificant. The fact is in NJ Corzine was unpopular. His unpopularity and the Christie win didn't play out down ballot, however, in legislative races GOP gained only one seat. Dems maintain there majority. Now VA is another story--GOP scored big up and down ballot. But exit polls in both NJ and VA indicate the vote was NOT a referendum on Obama. The media is down playing there own exit polls so that they can talk about the story the corporate media wants talked about--a supposedly bad night for dems and good one for GOP despite GOP losing more ground in congress.
