Good ol' Fox, trying, to pump up the victories as much as they can.
On edit: Bloomberg ran as a Republican and Independant, but Fox still chose to label him a (R) when others have gone with (I), unsurprisingly.

He switched from Democrat to Republican when he ran for mayor because he wouldn't have won the Democratic primary.
Bloomberg is the Republican and Independence Party's nominee for the 2009 NYC mayoral race.

2008 campaign (to clear the way for him to run for President as an Independent). http://voices.washingtonpost.com/thefix/eye-on-2008/mik... He is NOT (now) a Republican. (He IS still an asshole, though.)

Bloomberg is officially a registered small-i independent, but he ran on the ballot as the nominee of both the Independence Party and the Republican Party.

He switched to the R's for this election. I'm glad it was a nail biter, let that be a warning to him.
