I am so pissed I now have a repub as a mayor.Updated at 12:18 AM


Greensboro, NC -- Greensboro mayor Yvonne Johnson(D) has lost to Bill Knight(R).

The unofficial final vote count is Knight 17,580 to 16,616.

Mayor Johnson conceded the race to Knight around 9:30 Tuesday night.

In the Greensboro At-Large City Council Race, incumbent Sandra Anderson-Groat lost her bid for re-election. The three at-large winners include Nancy Barakat Vaughn, Robbie Perkins, and Danny Thompson.

Dianne Bellamy-Small, Jim Kee, Zach Matheny, Mary Rakestraw and Trudy Wade all won district races.

here in TX, the ONLY Dem representation I have until presidential level is our Dem mayor!

Mayors don't write laws.

Just picture your new dude carrying around an oversized pair of scissors, opening up the new strip mall. ;)
