NJ, VA and NY I could care less. I don't live there. But I do what equal rights for all people. I think there is also a ballot initiative on gay rights in Wash. State too.

the talking heads are trying to make this election a mandate on Obama, and it ain't. I would hate to see gay marriage get banned in Maine too, it's friggin' ridiculous that we as a nation are still bickering over this kind of thing. But this election is not a referendum on Obama or his agenda, despite what Faux is going to be saying.

It'll embolden the 'Baggers to try and knock off moderate GOPers in all sorts of House races. Either it'll weaken up the incumbents for Dem challengers, or it'll put wack-ass righties up against Dem challengers. Either way, we win.

also, I see you have remembered the Issue 1 vote in Maine, and there is also an expansion of Domestic Partners laws in Washington State going on, Referendum 71.

Regardless how any of these races mentioned in this thread go - it's not the end, by any means. The fight continues. And it has nothing to do with President Obama as they'll like to say repeatedly tomorrow about NJ/VA.
