I was reading on yahoo.com today 10/31/2009 that John Boehner slammed the democratic healthcare reform as a government takeover. He said as usual that republicans had the answer to healthcare reform by allowing people to by plans across state lines and by reforming malpractice law so doctors don't have to practice defensive medicine. Well if republicans think they have the answer to refrom, WHY DIDN'T THEY ATTEMPT REFROM WHEN THEY WERE IN POWER FROM 1994 TO 2006, and WHY ARN'T DEMOCRATS CONSTANTLY REMINDING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OF THAT??? Its driving me insane that democrats fail to use this point!!! They should be throwing that in the face of republicans every chance they get....All they need to say is....Just a simple phrase....
"IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE THE ANSWER TO HEALTHCARE REFORM, WHY DIDNT YOU ATTEMPT IT WHEN YOU WERE IN POWER FROM 1994 TO 2006"
once again...
"IF YOU FEEL YOU HAVE THE ANSWER TO HEALTHCARE REFORM, WHY DIDNT YOU ATTEMPT IT WHEN YOU WERE IN POWER FROM 1994 TO 2006"
Is anyone else annoyed that this simple fact is not being used??!!
