PDA, California Nurses and other groups are gathering today at Waxman's office. He stripped Dennis Kucinich's amendment HR 3200 that would preserve the right of states to implement their own Single Payer solution. Since Waxman's state California has a fully articulated, popular Single Payer alternative, he hit right at our underbellies. CA Single Payer was passed twice by our legistlature but vetoed by the governor.
