Pictures from our Billionaires for Wealthcare Rally today - and our invasion of the teabaggers

We had a Billionaires for Wealthcare Rally today in Kansas City. It was fabulously fun. We got all dressed up.






We even had a limo.





















During our get together we found out the local teabaggers were at the NBC affiliate protesting against Keith Olbermann. It just so happened that the NBC station is only 2 blocks from where we had gathered the billionaires. So we decided to join the teabaggers.

We walked over there as a group and were joined by a couple who was going to the rally. They saw our signs and said they didn't have a sign so we offered them one of ours.

As we got to the teabagger rally, we were greeted by lots of smiles and cheers. Then slowly, one by one, they figured out who we were.

We refused to stand on the sidewalk paid for with socialist tax dollars so we gathered behind the teabaggers on the grass. We had a bullhorn and we thanked them for making us wealthy and for George Bush and for Halliburton and for all that money we had made in the 21st century. You can see a couple of our signs in this picture:



For awhile, the teabaggers just stood there and looked at us. They had some woman on the other side of the street chanting things that didn't make any sense and we responded as well as we could. When she said anything about health care, we thanked them for their premium dollars that made us wealthy. If she mentioned taxes, we reminded them that we didn't have to pay taxes because they do. This really made one girl angry. She told us she was poor and couldn't afford to pay higher taxes for government health care. We assured her we opposed all govt health care including Medicare and we appreciated a tax system that allowed us to pay no taxes because she paid enough to cover our share.

This man kept running out in the middle of the street. We told him that we hoped he didn't get hit because we didn't want to spend any money taking care of him.



A few of the teabaggers finally grabbed a bullhorn and began chanting back at us. Their chant was: "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH" then they would laugh and repeat "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH". (Yes it felt like 3rd grade on the playground) This did remind us of school so we told them their chant was proof of the failure of socialist public education.



A grand time was had by all. What a perfect day!

Oh but one problem. The teabaggers had advertised their rally was about that evil librul Keith Olberman but they had no signs condemning Keith. Hmm.

They did have one sign I should have gotten a picture of. It said "NO END OF LIFE COUNCELLING" I asked the man holding it if he was talking about using cell phones. He gave me a funny look and I said "Your sign says coun CELL ing". He looked at his sign and then said "Oh so it's about the spelling and NOT the message, eh?" I assured him he was correct.

See, it is possible to share a message with teabaggers.

This Lincoln Town Car pulled up and a chauffeur got out and opened the back door. A well dressed woman in a fur coat got out and joined our rally.

It was awesome staging.

I had an old stole from my mother in law. The site of it made me feel queasy. I sent it in and felt great about it!

Some aren't comfortable selling it or giving it to charity, because they feel people should not wear animal fur. And storing, cleaning, and remodeling old fur coats are highly profitable services for furriers and helps keep them in the fur business. So what should people do with it?

All of the furs received by The HSUS are sent to wildlife rehabilitators, who use the furs to warm and comfort orphaned and injured wildlife. More than 200 rehabilitators from across the United States and Canada now participate in the program.

How Do the Furs Help Wildlife?

The furs are cut into an appropriate size for the animal, whether it be a bobcat, fox, raccoon, squirrel, or rabbit, and placed inside the animal's enclosure. The furry blanket becomes a surrogate mother to orphaned animals, reducing stress and giving comfort.

Sounds like what I did at my local teabaggers meeting in our country. I acted like I was one of them then when I got the bullhorn I gradually started to slam everyone of their heroes in a roundabout way and it creschendoed to an all out smack down on the fat boy, Oreilly and all their repuke heroes until someone took the bullhorn from me and told me to leave. I still wouldnt but finally a deputy advised me I was trespassing so I took it out to the sidewalk and harassed everyone of them as they left with my librul friends.

Protestors gathered outside the offices of NBC Action News on Saturday to voice their opinions about the station's news coverage.


KANSAS CITY, Mo. – More than 50 protesters gathered outside the offices of NBC Action News Saturday afternoon saying the station favors President Obama in its coverage.

The group protested what they call biased, liberal news coverage over a broad range of issues, including health care, Obama’s $787 billion stimulus bill and reporting on the number of people attending recent Tea Party events.

Protesters gathered at the station at 4 p.m. and were still at the station as of 6 p.m.

About that attendance at their teabag events - I heard this guy talking to the reporter and he was claiming there were 20,000 at a recent rally. I have attended quite a few of their rallies and I moved over closer to the guy to hear which rally he was talking about. He told the reporter the date and the place and I had been there! There were 100 of them at that rally. I posted pics of it here. We even had cops there who counted the group! Now, how much of a stretch is it to make 100 turn into 20,000!! I about bust a gut laughing.
