7. Thanks Peggy-
I've been watching all day- got some plants to put in the ground.
Just transplanted four of them between the showers.
Hope the burn area folks are not in danger of mudslides...

The rain was very gentle here...

Not the slashing, windy storm that can bring trouble.

You're welcome!

10. Hi Peggy. We got 5.5 inches up here in Sonoma Co. by Fort Ross
(Why would anyone want this in the Lounge? With all the fires down there last summer, this is important news for some folks.)

I gave it a rec too... Just because. No rain out there by my hometown though (Palmdale)

Hope your doing well dear.

13. perfect kind of storm for fire areas - +/- 1" rain very softly - almost nothing here in
Riverside, just enough drizzle to mess up the cars.

rain was mostly caused by air lifting up over the mountains, so areas in and near mountains got the most rain.

that this part of the San Bernardino National Forest will be spared a burn for one more year.

You guys with all those trees...it's scary.

We had steady rain all night.

Much needed here too, even though we don't have any forests.

25. We got almost 4" here in SLO - a good start to our water year
I haven't looked to see what the Sierra accumulated, and if any of it is snowpack that might stick. Although I guess this time of year it would be better to get that water in the reservoirs and hope for a good snowpack later on...
