This thread is in honor of Her Royal Highness Queen Snowe of Olympia, Empress consort of the American monarchy. It is a blessed day today that her Majesty decided to vote for the Royal Baucus Charter. Hear ye, ye serfs, ye peasants! With Her Grace's approval, we may just get a watered down health care reform bill. But do not take Her Royal Consent today with a grain of salt! She, in her infinite wisdom, shall demand some serious concessions first. It'll take some major sacrifices to keep her at bay! Fortunately, it is all but certain the Democratic Lords are prepared to defer to her every demand. And as should be! For if you scurvy, progressive knaves doth protest much, the Black Plague of Private Insurance will continue its murderous rampage. And it'll be let them eat the cake of the status quo!
