Broward Republicans go gunning
Not too subtle.

snip

Armed with handguns and AK-47 and AR-15 assault rifles, the members of the Southeast Broward Republican Club abandoned the usual community center for their club meeting this week, and gathered at a gun range where they fired bullets instead of political bombshells.

One of the shooters at the Tuesday evening event was Robert Lowry, a Republican candidate hoping to unseat U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston. Lowry's target had the letters "DWS" next to the silhouette head.

Lowry said he didn't know who wrote Wasserman Schultz' initials on his target, but said he knew they were there before he started shooting. He initially described it as a "joke," but after answering several questions he said it "was a mistake" to use a target labeled "DWS."

3. I once made the mistake of stopping in Ocala where I heard some guys at a gas station
bragging about going "coon hunting" that evening. Florida and Republicans are an evil combination.

4. Do you know what "coon hunting" is?
People do still practice the hunting of raccoons for food and hide. When we lived in the Florida panhandle, we had a guy ask if he could set coon traps in the woods near our house. (They weren't our woods, so we didn't give permission.)

Never appealed to me, though, particularly the idea of hunting raccoons with dogs. That seems excessively cruel to me.

7. Ah, I see.
Just wanted to make sure you weren't jumping to conclusions.

In that case, that's bad.

8. No, I lived in Florida and Ocala is a place I stayed away from.
When I was there in the 90's, they had lawn jockey's in their yards.

6. I think this is good for Debbie.
I am not a fan of hers. She is too DLC for me. But if those assholes are trying to set up a campaign against her I will campaign for her instead of trying to find a more progressive opponent.
