So once the anger dies
what are we gonna do about healthcare?

I suspect not much.

Me, will place my obligatory calls to congress... not that it does a whit of difference.

Will talk about it, not that it makes a whit of difference.

You know why? We need to do something far more radical than calling congress. they don't work for us, and we need more than just talk.

Oh go march... nope.

That will not be enough either...

I have advocated before and I will again, what we need in this country, and that is just the beginning, are national strikes... and I mean the NATIONAL part.

We need far more than just that...

And we need to decide. Are we willing to die for what we need? If not, go back to the slumber.

That is all...

venal, and self-serving the Congress is for it will tell us definitively just how beholden Congress is to corporate interests rather than to the interests of the people in the context of our founding documents to promote the general welfare, not corporate welfare. ;)

that was before Televison and Consumerism came into full affect.

I suspect Americans aer too compromised to do anything like a naitonal strike.

What if we just took their toys away...I would have 4200 more dollars a year, myself. I have never used my insurance, been paying for years. DH is a vet and has great care at the VA....

we are using a rod from god... kinetic energy.

And the budget for nasa is less than 1% of our yearly budget... and that BASIC research translates to Earth.
