Sources: Limbaugh not front-runner for Rams
The Dave Checketts-Rush Limbaugh group is the only known bidder for the St. Louis Rams. Team owner and chairman Chip Rosenbloom has met with Checketts on more than one occasion and is said to like Checketts and respect him. But does that mean Checketts-Limbaugh is the front-runner to purchase the franchise? Not necessarily. According to league sources, there are as many as a half-dozen bidders for the team. Some are more interested in keeping the team in St. Louis than others. But the Checketts-Limbaugh group would keep the team here.

3. If he gets the team, the Rams could be more hated than the Cowboys
Of course the Cowboys also have a very large fanbase to offset that. I don't think the Rams could finanicially survive a boycott on their team.

5. It's impossible to lose money owning an NFL team
The NFL has profit sharing. The owner makes money whether the team sells tickets or not. If the want attendance, they can always move the team. Owners like to cry poor, but it's never true.

6. Wondering
I wonder if he will give all the ditto heads free tickets as long as they were the ones that helped him get enough money to even think about buying them.
