Baucus bill is a TWOFER for GOP: (1) Corporate Welfare (2) Who will middle class BLAME when they...

......find out they've been screwed, that they got mandates to purchase private insurance only, with no option to buy in to Medicare or any public option with affordable premiums based on Medicare provider rates, that premiums will rise through the stratosphere, while the special interests make out like bandits?

In the Baucus bill the GOP gets more Corporate Welfare than they could ever dream about passing if they were (officially) in charge.

But when the vanishing middle class realizes they've been screwed once again and blames the Democrats, it will not be pretty.

Passing a bill without an affordable public option with Medicare-based rates, such as the Baucus bill, is just about the only thing that our party could do that is worse than not passing a bill at all.

The Baucus bill will screw the middle class with mandated insurance without addressing the fundamental causes of premium inflation.

The Baucus bill will force American industry into permanent non-competitive status.

And the Baucus bill will give the GOP will get what - - - more Corporate Welfare - - - while absolving them of accountability, and even allowing them to eventually falsely blame the disaster on their ever-present imaginary bogeyman: those "big government, socialist Democrats."

We cannot survive as a prosperous and productive society by mortally wounding our middle class and our industrial base with unsustainable health expenditures, and playing by the GOP playbook.

We must have the guts to defeat this Massachusetts-on-steroids, lobbyist written monstrosity.
