Your money or your life
Insurance companies certainly have cornered the market on thuggery.

1. I saw a great cartoon years ago,
"If other businesses operated like Insurance Companies."

One was a salad bar with a sign, "Only customers who are ALREADY FULL!"

Funny and sad at the same time. :-) :-(

2. Wrong! With health insurers, it's "your money AND your life"!

5. It's not just the insurance companies, who maximize their
profits and protect their bottom lines by denying care and dropping the ill from their policies. It's also the hospitals and doctors who refuse to even consider treating people if they're uninsured or don't have enough money upfront. You wanna talk about "fines", that's where you should start.
