Are you ready to take to the streets and take your country back from AIPAC?
It seems to me that if a bunch of morons, who think the President was born in Africa, can spark a national debate about issues which don't even exist, we should be able to rescue our Congress from foreign invaders who have managed to completely compromise our government.

Don't you think?

6. I don't have any idea how many, but we know Jane Harman said on an FBI wiretap
Edited on Tue Sep-22-09 09:25 AM by BuyingThyme
that AIPAC has compromised Nancy Pelosi to the extent where AIPAC selects the chairs of our intelligence committees.

You can get a good idea as to the extent of AIPAC's reach by reading today's Sibel Edmonds interview. Or you can just look at all the so-called Americans who line up to take their money.

22. Are you now or have you ever been a member of AIPAC?
;) Good post, Cali.

If someone had told Sen McCarthy, "The Communist Party isn't an organization I have any use for, but I have as little use for the crap you're posting", they would have been in a heap of trouble. That is just not a good enough denunciation of a "suspect" organization. Of course, if enough people had said that early on he wouldn't have done the damage that he did.

Maybe we can get Joe Wilson to shift his focus from illegal immigrants and convince him to become the new McCarthy with a focus on nefarious Jewish organizations (since investigating communists is kind of passe.) If we are successful at this, you had better come up with a more convincing denunciation of all things Jewish or you are going to be in big trouble. :)

25. the op is just another claim that Jews run the gov't. Oh, I suppose one
could interpret it as Israelis controllthe U.S. gov't, but that also a bizarre and foundationless claim. It's one thing to say that AIPAC has too much influence on the gov't, as do many other lobbies, but it's another to make the claim that the gov't is controlled by a Jewish organizations.

Is my agenda to expose the fact that we're not being allowed to govern our own "democracy"?

What is my agenda, exactly?

19. you post no evidence for any of your claims.
you never do, but even assuming AIPAC was pro-Iraq war, that doesn't mean they were instrumental in the decision to go to war.

26. That is because Israel was NOT worried about Iraq, they were worried about Iran
and in fact told the U.S. that an invasion of Iraq would destabilize the region, and they did NOT recommend for the U.S. to go in

"Wilkerson noted that the main point of their communications was not that the US should immediately attack Iran, but that "it should not be distracted by Iraq and Saddam Hussein" from a focus on the threat from Iran.

The Israeli advice against using military force against Iraq was apparently triggered by reports reaching Israeli officials in December 2001 that the Bush administration was beginning serious planning for an attack on Iraq. Journalist Bob Woodward revealed in Plan of Attack that on December 1, 2001, secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld had ordered the Central Command chief, General Tommy Franks, to come up with the first formal briefing on a new war plan for Iraq on December 4. That started a period of intense discussions of war planning between Rumsfeld and Franks.

Soon after Israeli officials got wind of that planning, Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon asked for a meeting with Bush primarily to discuss US intentions to invade Iraq. In the weeks preceding Sharon's meeting with Bush on February 7, 2002, a procession of Israeli officials conveyed the message to the US administration that Iran represented a greater threat, according to a Washington Post report on the eve of the meeting.

Israeli defense minister Fouad Ben-Eliezer, who was visiting Washington with Sharon, revealed the essence of the strategic differences between Jerusalem and Washington over military force. He was quoted by the Post as saying, "Today, everybody is busy with Iraq. Iraq is a problem ... But you should understand, if you ask me, today Iran is more dangerous than Iraq."
"

but hey, its fun to make up things

23. We are in Iraq because our elected representatives put us there. One of the reasons was oil
Don't you read anything? Cheney was already dividing up the oil fields among the oil companies

This had to do with resources

In fact Israel specifically warned the us NOT to go into Iraq. They said it would destabilize the whole region

Israel was worried about Iran not Iraq

18. Edicts of Expulsion!
I support this, but only if Congress supports a subsidy to fund my current wars against the itinerant Hoosiers and Cheeseheads in the quest for Midwestern territorial dominance.

Also, Hugh of Lincoln must be returned to the well. He was put there for a reason, you know.

I'm generally not in the habit of engaging in heated debate right off the bat, but I submit your correspondence with other participants in this thread don't paint a very hospitable picture of you. Your axiomatic positions bear no attribution or premise of thought, just blame and a call to warlike action. You seem to accuse all who question your premise of being clueless. The powers that be must love folks who unknowingly do their bidding so well.

Corruption has, and likely always will, go hand in hand with political power and greed. These intangible and unprincipled soul eaters don't favor one race or ethnicity, they work together like something of a net, that ensnares most in its path.

If there is an international coalition of elitists seeking to enslave the world wide masses, I'm sure you'd be able to count Americans among them. It's not like they don't know they've sold us out.
