The latest hysteria is about the new versions of the age-old "Your Taxes at Work" signs. Seems the wingnuts see evil intent:

Have you ever seen a road reconstruction project sign that wasn't boldly advertising the Governor, or County Commissioner, or President who got it to happen?

Personally, it helps me to be more patient with the traffic hold-ups when I see one of the signs- Knowing that were it not for the stim.$ the road/bridge/intersection would have continued to crumble.

which we've always had. Some see them as a waste of money, some see them as useful reminders to people about what their taxes are doing.
