Edit to add: I don't know which one. But I think that the phrase used in the OP was meant to criticize her use of the word boor. Either she doesn't know what it means, in which case she is being incompetent, or she meant it and was degrading the president on a very personal and demeaning level, in which case she should be dropped from Steph's panel. That was the time for Georgie to get the dictionary out.

All that being said, I think that the OP title should be clarified.

The racism in the whole anti-Obama campaign is sometimes overt, but sometimes it is so subtle as to be subconscious. Just because Noonan is educated and reasonably intelligent doesn't mean that 'way down deep she just can't deal with a dark man being president.
