Cousin of Cracker Barrel Attacker blames "the blacks"

West’s cousin said no matter what people says he's not a racist.

"Let me tell you, the blacks always try to say that's the thing and they are more prejudice than we are," said West’s cousin.

“I mean I went to school with a lot of them, played football, I mean colored, Hispanics all of them. Most of our friends around here are different race so it's not racist around her a bit. Some people might be, some might not, so it's is the South so. You have some that might be and some that don't really look at it that way," said resident Keaton tucker.

The police chief of Poulan told CBS Atlanta he hasn't had any problem since West's case made the news.

He said the only thing he has been dealing with is threatening phone calls made to West and his family.

All of the witnesses deny that Ms Hill spat on her assailant, and even the police say that the CB's surveillance video shows that Ms Hill never spat on him. All of the four witnesses say that this was indeed racially motivated.
