These idiots who did the illegal taping of Acorn meetings said they were not being political...yeah right. Why not video tape dozens of mortage predatory lenders who basically destroy people's lives? Why not video tape nursing home abuse which distroys lives?

but that just means we need MORE people like the ACORN investigators doing more of these stings.

and if the tapers had been on the left, and taping a predatory lender, they would be applauded here. these people are being criticized because they DARED to investigate the holy ACORN.

i'm all for bringing corruption , malfeasance, misfeasance, and fuck-up-edness to light

and two party laws are stupid and i have always opposed them.

as a police officer, any citizen should have the right to tape me, and i should have the same right.

it means people who are dishonest can be confronted with REAL evidence, not he said/she said accusations.

8. That's because they aren't universally "predatory".

An option ARM (or similar alternative loan) can make good sense for the right customer in the right situation. It's where they were used to make too-large loans for people who wouldn't otherwise qualify (and who couldn't reasonable be expected to afford this one)... that's where "predatory" came in.

Those kinds of loans are almost impossible to find now.

secretly records any meeting with corporate America that, no matter what they uncover, the topic of discussion by the MSM will be the illegality of secretly taping conversations. The entire focus will be on the criminality of the person(s) running the video camera.
