Jason was located shortly after his bus from Eielson Air Force Base arrived on post.
“They grabbed my bags, threw me on a truck and whisked me to the hospital,” Jason said.
“I went from one extreme to another like any other combat mission,” he added with a twinkle in his eye. “I just went to the corner (of the delivery room) and pulled security.
“I smiled and waved and stood in the corner.”

“He walked in and I screamed, ‘I’ve got to push,’” she said.
Seven minutes later, Christopher Camden Ray, weighing 6 pounds, 14 oz., was born. He is the couple’s third child.
