Republicans Criticizing ACORN over Possible Tax Evasion is Funny

I just watched Today's edition of Democracy Now. On the show a clip was played in which a Republican member of Congress said funding should be cut from ACORN because they were shown helping a pimp avoid paying taxes, which would be tax evasion. In my opinion it is laughable that a Republican would complain that a group may have tried to help someone avoid paying taxes in that this is the same party that supported corporations evading taxes by setting up offshore accounts so they would not have to pay taxes in America. These companies have failed to pay million if not billions in taxes while even if ACORN would have helped this pimp he would have only saved thousands of dollars in taxes at the most.

I am not saying it would have been right for ACORN to help the so-called pimp. I just think it is ridiculous for Republican to talk about tax evasion in that they have supported some of the worse tax evasion policies and plans. The policies supported by the Republican Party have cost this country far more than what the actions of ACORN (even if they had been true) would have cost this country.
