Suspicious Package found on Disney World Bus, Employees Evacuated
Edited on Thu Sep-17-09 04:53 PM by Ian David
Update: WESH news now reporting that Disney Bus Service has been suspended.

Local news is reporting that a suspicious package has been found on Disney World Transportation Bus located in a non-guest accessible area. Some cast members have been evacuated and the bomb squad called in. A Bus Driver inspecting his bus after bringing into the maintenance area after a day’s operations found a suspicious device attached under the bus and immediately called for help.

No word now on if this incident will require all Disney buses to come in for inspection or if it’s just Disney acting out of an abundance of caution.

More as it becomes available.

7. So, is this a typical place for something to be placed that is called a "package"?
Personally I have never had any packages attached under any of my vehicles.

9. Well, the media isn't clever enough to use any words that aren't "package".
It's easy to say, and people immediately think "terrorism". Also, there's the sexual connotation of the word, and sex sells.

Okay, maybe that was a bit of a stretch. :)

2. They just bought Marvel - maybe it's a Spidey Tracer!
No, not really, but it's a funny joke anyway.

At first I thought, "Oh, it's just some tourist who left their bag on the bus" but then it said it was something attached to the bottom. That's scary.

:scared:
