| Finally a good pro-healthcare reform commercial |
|
I was just running an errand and heard a radio spot in support of healthcare reform, ala Obama's plan on the Bay Area's most popular rock station. It was great.
It mocked Harry and Louise of past reform attempts' fame and listed all the travails they recently underwent due to bad health problems. It skewered the insurance industry very well, and the end piece was something the insurance companies promised to reform back in Teddy Roosevelt's day and it is now about 100 years later and no reform as promised by the insurance industry.
It was priceless listening to how Louise delayed treatment because they were afraid of spending their savings and now she is worse and needs even more care. Harry and Louise had to give up their country club membership, and other "essentials," due to Louise's illness, thanks to a pre-existing condition, etc.
We need more common sense ads like this based on the facts and the history.
It has taken too long to respond this way to the lies.
Has anyone else heard any good ads like this?
Just my dos centavos,

I understood it was to appear on tv but can't get back to the page that said this. Here's the ad though (the video at top.) It's perfect, short and to the point. http://healthcareforamericanow.org/site/video/
