4. Correct - Heidi provided a service to her customers
If Heidi took money from the Johns then sent in farm animals she could be compared to Max.

8. Express yourself to Mr. Baucus & The Finance Committee
http://finance.senate.gov/sitepages/committee.htm

Letter I sent to each of the Dems on this committee:

Baucus Bill = Garbage!

Please help take out this piece of trash to the dumpster!

I'm not sure why Mr. Baucus is willing to sell-out Dems to the insurance company's and Repubs (who won't vote for any reform bill anyway) but this guy must be loony. Why is he heading a committee??? Forget Joe Wilson, someone should make this guy publicly apologize to the Democratic Party for being a sell-out. And for $3 million the insurance company's got him on the cheap!

A bill with no public option or safeguards for private insurance = NO REFORM

10. Is it bad math skills or does he just hate older Americans
The idea of a pool of covered insured is that you spread the risk. Part of this bill calls for prices 5x higher for "older" people?

I hope the AARP remembers this guy next time around and can find anyone to run against him.

15. That math is behind the thinking for single payer
a pool of 300 million is a hell of a lot bigger than that of a few million but apparently the only math the Senator from Blue Cross understands is the number of dollars the insurance companies feed into his coffers.

A hearty Brooklyn salute to the Senator from US Healthcare.

He sold his ethics and his honor not his body.
But I do agree with the sentiment.

12. Max Baucus has SOLD OUT.
He sold out his CONSTITUENTS, his PARTY, and his COUNTRY, for 2.8 million corporate dollars. To call him a whore is an insult to hardworking whores everywhere.

He's worse than a sell-out, though; he's a failed sell-out. He tried to use bipartisanship as a cover for selling out to his insurance company sponsors, but the Republicans punked him. Now he's got no support from the left, none from the right, and everyone's pointing and laughing at him for being a failure.
