5. The Society of American Socialists declares Glenn Beck socialism's "Number One Enemy"

The President of the Society of American Socialists, Dr. Ginger Vernor, today issued a statement declaring Fox News talk show host Glenn Beck, "American socialism's enemy number one." Dr. Vernor speaking from her office in Berkley, California, said that the massive demonstration this weekend in Washington D.C. was the clearest example of Glenn Beck's influence in the anti-socialist movement.

"American socialists, up to this point, have not viewed Glenn Beck's rhetoric as threat to the socialist cause. But clearly, the outpouring of anti-socialist sentiment by such a large number of individuals and Beck's constant depiction of President Barack Obama's advisers and policies as 'socialist' is something that we definitely feel is worth our concern."

Society of American Socialists Vice President, Dr. Faye Geaux, then presented a six point plan that the SAS will implement for the purpose of marginalizing Glenn Beck and his anti-socialist 9-12 Movement. The points are:

1. A thorough investigation and exposè of Glenn Beck's mental history.

2. An around the clock protest contingent of socialists whenever Glenn Beck is out in public.

3. An all-out coordinated assault on Glenn Beck's character on the Internet and in the media.

4. A concentrated boycott campaign of Glenn Beck's remaining advertisers.

5. A national campaign of funny posters and billboards depicting Glenn Beck as the Joker.

6. A website dedicated to posting candid pictures of Glenn Beck by concerned citizens.

"We plan on making Glenn Beck's life a living Hell", said Dr, Geaux, "He has already demonstrated that he's a clear paranoiac and this six-part program is something that we Americans socialists have designed to help him along his way."
