Conservative activists, who organized a march on the U.S. Capitol today in protest of the Obama administration's health care agenda and government spending, erroneously attributed reports on the size of the crowds to ABC News.

5. From what I could see of them....

Yes, the Klan, maybe some Hammerskins and a fair number of people where this outing may have been the first time anyone in their lineage has seen people of the opposite sex that weren't related to them since their great great grandfather purchased a wife.

Nothing I've seen or heard from any of these people lends me to consider them to be anything other than racist, angry, bitter, stupid and seriously unhinged from reality.

2. Whatever. Inflating the size of crowds at rallies is as old as having rallies.

So, they had 50,000 or so. They made the news, and DU has been crapping itself.

4. Talk About A Story With NO Legs...

Consider this "protest" a massive FAIL. Other than make noise in their own hive, few people outside their coven were paying attention. There was little television coverage (note: newsrooms are closed on the weekends...especially now in the age of corporate "consolidation") and even less real public interest.

The April Fools teabagging was somewhat spontaneous...and definitely a surprise to the corporate media. Not the same this time. Other than going out to cover it like the freak show it is...the wingnuts have created so much noise that a vast majority are now tired of them and aren't paying attention. That's the downside of living in constant poutrage mode...sooner rather than later, people get tired of hearing your bitchin'.
