I mean, I suppose that overlooking the fact that the executive is thoroughly corrupt and profusely criminal would be okay except that . . .

PEOPLE ARE DYING EVERY DAY! . . . Americans, Iraqis, Afghanis, and who-knows-who's-next . . .

THE LAW-BREAKING CONTINUES EVERY DAY! . . . in so many ways it's hard to keep track . . .

THE ECONOMY GETS WEAKER EVERY DAY! . . . there's some really bad times ahead, and BushCo just keeps exacerbating the problem(s) . . .

THE PLANET IS BEING DESTROYED EVERY DAY! . . . e.g. U.S. emissions are not going down, they are RISING -- and projected to continue to rise . . .

THE PRESIDENT IS NUCKIN' FUTS EVERY DAY! . . . when he's not violating one law or another, he's meeting with Nazi historians to hear how well he's doing, and how internment camps are the answer . . .

haven't you seen ENOUGH, Mr. and Ms. Congressperson? . . . I mean, really . . .

IMPEACH THEM NOW! . . . ALL OF THEM!! . . .

(and while you're at it, impound every record you can get your hands on -- while they still exist) . . .

sorry . . . just had to blow off a little steam . . .

2. They may seem to lack aggression
But consider:
The Republicons did their homework this time.
They will be infinitely harder to deal with than Nixon was.
They appear to have anticipated getting caught.
They've taken measures to stack the judiciary at every level. They routinely hide and attempt to destroy evidence. And they hold the leash to a shamefully weak lapdog media.
They're powered by Old Money and Big business, both of whom have declared open war on the American Middle Class. These two groups must know that some bare knuckle payback is in store for them.
So they're pouring it on, abusing everything they've got to destroy America before they have to face its justice.
As for impeachment, there was never a more deserving target than the Chimp.
The prospect of president Cheney gives me pause. It might be for his own use that all that martial law apparatus has been constructed.
That dangerous piggy will have to be impeached first. And he could be replaced by someone worse.
We weren't up against quite that potent an array of enemies last time.
We may have to wait on Cheny and Chimp. But lesser Republicons can be impeached with a simple senate majority.
Mrs Pelosi could detail some hungry "young turks" into a task force dedicated to impeaching lesser Republicon criminals. At minimum it would disrupt the Republicon ranks.
And it would begin to satisfy my hunger for Republicon political blood.

3. Congress needs to
get the message. There are many simple, everyday things we can all do to raise the general as well as Congressional consciousness for impeachment. We just all need to act collectively and raise hell until they figure out we mean business.

9. Duplicate Topics and Spamming
Duplicate Topics and Spamming

Do not post duplicate topics that have already been posted. There are different levels of enforcement in different forums. For example, the Latest Breaking News forum has extremely strict rules against duplicate topics, but the General Discussion forum is much more lenient. Cross posting of duplicates in the two General Discussion forums is not permitted. Cross-posting of duplicates in other forums is occasionally permitted if there is a clear reason for doing so.

Do not spam the message board by posting the same message repeatedly, or by posting a flood of different messages. We have an automatic spam filter which blocks out members who post numerous messages in a short period of time.
