Remembering the victims of 9/11

Today is the 8th anniversary. I remember that dark day in our history. Take a moment today to honor the victims with a prayer. Thank you.

Obama has declared this day a National Day of Service. He will visit the Pentagon Memorial and lay down a reef in remembrance.

This day touches me personally. I lost my best friend at the Pentagon that day. I still miss her.

And it is a dreary, rainy day in Washington.

1. I was told by a friend that she was marching on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Saturday

because a lot of people have forgotten what happened on 9/11.

I asked her if she really was that dim ...

but she said that GB had moved on to something else (I told her that he's reaping what he's sown ...)
