Edited on Fri Apr-13-07 06:45 PM by malaise
They said serious damage in Fort Worth. Looks like Dallas will escape the tornadoes according to Dr Greg Forbes on WC.

Add.

25. "tea cup sized hail"
Hmmm... local weather people...can we just stick with the good ol' baseball, grapfruit-sized descriptions?

They've been showing the damage in the Ft Worth area...huge industrial sized a/c conditioner unit torn off a building roof, side of a building torn off. Minyard's grocery store has front of it destroyed. Customers had to be sent to the store's vault for safety.

Texas Motor Speedway spectators had to be evacuated from the stands. Maverick's game downtown going on, the storm hit when people were arriving. Huge American flag torn half way off the pole.

KRLD says a second round of storms is forming and heading to the area.

Powerlines down in Mesquite.

26. I've heard the "tea cup" reference before
I don't quite understand it. Sick with quarter, golf ball, baseball, etc.

I wish I could go home. Why aren't we closed?? Who the f*** is going to buy a car right now? I'm in Irving but live in Arlington, near the Ballpark. sigh.
